In addition to our award winning custom framing, we now offer "Do-It-Yourself" framing. We have added a work area for those that want to save some money and do some of the work themselves. The process is simple, and you will find it fun and satisfying. A member of our most excellent staff will help you achieve the design you are looking for and will tailor it to your budget.
You can choose from hundreds of in-stock acid free mats and wood mouldings. Grizzly Creek will guide you so the design meets your needs, matches your decor, and preserves your art.
How Does it Work?
The Do-it-Yourself process takes the work and expense out of trying to do it at home. You design the way you want your piece framed. You can be as creative as you like. We are a state of the art facility; we use computerized mat cutters, industrial saws, v-nail pinners, and design software. If we can't do it, it can't be done!
Using the design you created, we cut the mats, cut and join the frame, size the glass, and provide you with a place to work on your project. We supply the specialized tools, wire, hardware, and a large work area.
As you prepare to assemble your masterpiece, we will show you how to properly mount your art, secure the mat, clean and place glass, and finish the back. It will be done correctly and you can tell everyone that you did it!
If you want the finished piece to be shipped ,we can do that for you, too! We ship art everyday and we ship worldwide.
There are limitations in Do-it-Yourself framing. Framing can grow very complicated very quickly with certain items. We can guide you through basic projects with ease. We will not show someone how to frame huge pieces of art, jerseys, shadowboxes, object mounts, etc. It simply takes to much time and knowledge for a do-it-yourself environment.
